Dr. Gayle R. Roberts

Dr. Gayle Roberts graduated from Los Altos High School in Hacienda Heights. She attended UC Davis for 8 years, earning her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science in 1976 and her DVM in 1980. Dr. Roberts has practiced in Orange County ever since. She loves working with all animals, and even served as park veterinarian at Lion Country Safari. She was staff doctor at Crown Valley Animal Hospital when she gained national notoriety for her care and work with the pelicans that were maimed off of Dana Point in 1982 and 1983. Dr. Roberts received the Lorne Greene New Wilderness Award for this work. She then worked in the referral surgical practice that did the beak prostheses on the pelicans for just over a year. She purchased Northwood Animal Hospital in 1986. Dr. Roberts especially enjoys surgery, dentistry and working with exotic animals.

Lacey Pitino

Lacey has been at Northwood Animal Hospital since June 2014. Lacey has had a passion for animals as long as she can remember. She graduated from Heritage College's Veterinary Technician Program in November 2016 and is a Registered Veterinary Technician.

Lacey has 2 fur babies at home: Link, a 7 year old rescue chiweenie and Jax, a 3 year old Persian guinea pig.

Cindy

Cindy was born in Youngstown, Ohio and moved to the Orange County area in 1988. She received her RVT license in December of 2009, and has worked at Northwood Animal Hospital for 24 years. She is passionate about assisting clients and their pets in maintaining optimal healthcare, and loves the positive working environment Northwood has to offer.

In her spare time, Cindy enjoys horseback riding, bike riding, and going to off road races several times throughout the year. Northwood Animal Hospital is thankful to have Cindy as a part of our team, and appreciates her dedication to clients and their pets for the past 24 years!

Lisa

Lisa is a Veterinary Assistant at Northwood Animal Hospital. Lisa has been a part of the Northwood Team since 2006. She has always loved animals and feels like nothing compares to the bond we have with our pets. She loves sharing that with others. She volunteered as a kid at the Irvine Animal Care Center. She studied Animal Services at Cal Poly Pomona. Lisa’s hobbies include reading and going on adventures with her kids. Lisa has two dogs Max and Zoey.

Kristy

Kristy was born and raised in Irvine, CA and continues to live in this beautiful city. She started working at Northwood Animal Hospital in May 2002 as a technician and received her RVT license in 2005. Her dream as a little girl was to work with animals and she feels blessed to be doing what she loves. In her spare time she enjoys running, crafting and napping. She also enjoys taking care of her 3 furry babies (Ladybug, Pomeranian, Macy, Yorkshire Terrier, and Cheeto, Bearded Dragon) and her 2 un-furry human children (Olivia, 10 and Eva, 7)

Saori

Saori was born in Japan, and moved to California with her family thirteen years ago.

Saori began working at Northwood Animal Hospital in 2007 as a kennel attendant, and since then, has moved into the position of a veterinary assistant. Saori loves working here because of the fun, kind, and caring doctors and staff, as well as the warm atmosphere!

She has a wonderful animal family, which consists of their a Maltese/Poodle mix-"Kirby", and Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix-"Ricky"!

Northwood Animal Hospital is so grateful to have Saori as a part of our team. Everyday she brings a positive attitude, and an incredible work ethic, which is very much appreciated by her fellow staff members.

Madison

Madison began working at Northwood Animal Hospital November 2017. Madison loves to work with animals and is studying to become a veterinarian herself. She is the owner to Batman, an all Black German Shepherd, Robin, a Black Pit Mix, and Miranda, a Domestic Short Hair Black cat. In her off time Madison loves going to the gym and considers herself a health junkie.

Maria

Maria has been at Northwood Animal Hospital since February 2019. She loves working with animals. Maria has a two year old Chihuahua, Rambo, and a poodle mix, $hado. In her spare time Maria enjoys playing guitar, attending concerts, and stargazing.

Jazmin

Jazmin has been part of the Northwood Team since October 2021. She is one of Northwood Animal Hospital’s Kennel Attendants. Jasmin’s hobbies include playing video games, going on road trips, and finding new places to eat. Jazmin loves working with animals because they are so loving and deserve to be taken care of as we would ourselves. Jazmin has two cats Luna and Nugget.

Michele

Michele has been a part of the Northwood Team since July 2022 and is one of our Client Service Representatives. She was born and raised in Orange County. She has two grown children, a daughter name Emily and a son name Morgan. Michele has three rescue dogs. Clover, a brindle chihuahua, Yoshi, a terrier/chihuahua mix and Brady, a morkie. She also has a black cat, Ruth Bader Ginsberg and a 45-yr old desert tortoise, Charlie. She has worked with animals most of her life. Michele’s previous pets include horses, rats, fish, guinea pigs and other pocket pets. She’s volunteered for rescues, 4H club and the Santa Ana Zoo as a Docent Educator

Jazmin

She grew up having dogs, chickens, and birds. Her love of animals came from her grandmother. Jazmin has a small dog name Dobby and a large dog name Athena. Jazmin is also a pre-vet student and is currently attending Cal Poly Pomona.

Star loves working with all types of animals and states that she “loves being the voice for those who don’t speak.” Star has four dogs Kali, Molly, Kody Bear and Duke. She also has 3 cats Chunkey Monkey, Cruiser and Miss Kitty.

She is one of Northwood Animal Hospital’s Kennel Attendants. Heather’s hobbies include hiking, photography and snowboarding. Heather has two cats RVCA & Kona, two dogs Haylee & Lucy as well as a gecko name Littlefoot.

Euroh has been part of the Northwood Team since December 2022. She is one of our technicians here. Euroh likes working with animals because she’s always loved them as a kid and feels like she understands their language. Her hobbies include going to concerts, hiking, camping, fishing, cooking, going on road trips/traveling, electronics and technology. She has a Beardie named Nipsey, 3 cats name Kova, Sura and Yuka and one Aussie/Husky mix dog name Logan.

Minerva has been part of the Northwood Team since September 2017. Her roles at Northwood Animal Hospital have included being the Client Service Representative Supervisor and Client Coordinator. Minerva has a tabby cat named Zelda, red-eared slider named Titan, and a Golden Retriever named Link.
